Mother St. Bride School endeavours to provide a peaceful environment that nurtures the growth of a faith community; physically, intellectually, emotionally and socially, based upon the teachings and values of the Catholic Church.
The faith community of our school reflects its gospel base through its hospitable environment, the presence of sacred imagery, the respect shown for all persons, and the religious atmosphere.
The Religion curriculum provides a doctrinally sound, balanced, sequential, and developmentally appropriate, program of instruction to our students.
Service projects are essential components of the curriculum at all levels, and student-reflection on the service opportunity is seen as integral School-wide.
Our school is involved in a number of community based projects, for example:
- Our Breakfast and Snack Program;
- Our Fundraising for specific causes (e.g. Jump Rope for Heart, The Juvenile Diabetes Association);
- Our support of Pro-Cathedral Food Bank;
- Our fundraising contributions to the Santa Claus Fund;
- Our support of The Duke of Edinburgh Costa Rica Project
