Welcome to a new school year at Mother St. Bride School!
I am Lori Schlueting, Principal of Mother St. Bride School, and it is a blessing to welcome our students, families, and staff into another year of learning, faith, and community.
Each new school year is a beginning. It is a chance to reconnect, to set new goals, to discover new strengths, and to grow together. In a Catholic school, we are reminded that we do not walk this journey alone. We walk with one another, and we walk with Christ, who guides us with love, patience, and hope.
At Mother St. Bride School, our staff are committed to helping every child feel known, valued, and supported. We want our students to see themselves as capable learners and as children of God, each created with unique gifts to share. Throughout the year, we will encourage our students to ask questions, take risks, solve problems, build friendships, care for others, and grow in confidence.
Our work is not only about academic achievement, but also about forming young people who are kind, compassionate, resilient, and rooted in faith. We want our students to experience school as a place where they belong, where they are challenged, and where they are encouraged to become the people God calls them to be.
As we begin this year, we look forward to continuing our strong partnership with parents and guardians, our parish, and the broader community. When home, school, and parish work together, our students are surrounded by the support they need to flourish.
We encourage open communication throughout the year and invite you to reach out with questions, concerns, ideas, or ways you may wish to contribute to our school community. Whether through volunteering, attending school events, supporting classroom activities, or participating in our Catholic School Advisory Council, your involvement helps strengthen the life of our school.
This year, may we continue to walk together in faith, hope, and love. May our students feel encouraged to try, supported when they struggle, and celebrated as they grow.
